I think ppl are misunderstanding BOI commentary, they meant a RESPECTABLE Total, which was expected from a Varun Dhawan film since he has achieved a Star Status, they never confirmed film to be a SUCCESS means a Average or Semi-Hit kind...

This was going to flop, a little bump i SAT collections raised hope, now it is going down... no hope, it is now confirmed Flop.

I don't know why a salman-tiger fan will just want a Varun movie to flop

it isn't a flop unless declare by BOI... Bollywood hungama has already declared as a success

I don't get it.So what if it's a flop ..what would you (non fan,ofcourse) get from a flop from Varun Dhawan?Let me guess,thandai for your jalte huye hearts?

By God,I have never seen stuff like this ..you guys are celebrating / want to celebrate / wishing for his 1st flop like you guys don't even celebrate when and if your favourites film works..

I understand numbers matters but why his fans to needs to deal with other fandom coming up with all sorts of analysis? Shanti se ek film bhi enjoy nahi kar sakte hai kya?

Chalo bhai or bahen,if this also proves to be his another success (mind you not saying HIT😆) we will treat you with cakes but if it fails,briani zaroor khilana..aur khana bhi..

Since you guys worked so hard,prayed so hard for a "flop" I am sure that took out much energy from you,that would help when you pray for another flop for him when his next release 🤪🥱

What does me being a fan of Salman-Tiger has to do with my views?? I am not hoping/wanting badly to flop this film... Audience has rejected it, stating it doesn't need a certification of whose fan i have to be to say so.

BOI stating recovered money from pre-release sales is as hilarious, coz Salman's all films have double their investment pre-release, despite which Tubelight was crucified, stop picking things where it is suitable for excuse... Accept this failure with Grace... no need to jump on ppl.

Yes IPL, low-key promotions, confusing trailer or meh music but I'd say despite these adverse factors opening was indeed pretty underwhelming for a Varun film considering his lowest Day 1 is Main tera hero 6.6 Cr 😆something & Badlapur (A-rated)

7 Cr having said that after watching the film its commendable that this kind of film has made even this much, coz trust me, ppl can say whatever they want that we are making excuses blah...blah...😆 but October was Raincoat, Last Lear level niche film not Fan, Lootera types...

Anyways 95% sure final verdict by BOI would be Average :)

Why would a movies films success put me in hibernation 😆 I know Varun and his films resonate very deeply with you but I for one am perfectly okay with films flopping😆 its not like i have any personal investment in any of the movies or something lol
