October Rampage And Nanu Ki Jaanu Update

October grossed 9.75 crore nett in its second week to take its total to 37.50 crore nett. The drop in week two is around 65% which is fair and a repeat of that in week three would easily take the film to 40 crore nett plus but it will be difficult due to the competition.

The collections of October till date are as follows.

Week One - 27,75,00,000 apprx

Second Week- 9,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 37,50,00,000 apprx

Always happens darling😆, for eg as per BOI (which gives distributor/exhibitor figures) Ek villain earned 97 Cr never entered 100 Cr club😳

But as per taran, Komal etc (producers figures) it did 104Cr

Brothers as per BOI did 70Cr (FLOP), as per taran etc it did 85 Cr,(Below Avg) nothing new.

Whether VD do have flops and his fans are delusional or he is paying people (that none other havr ever done as all have flop dont know y) to get good numbers( that indciates that he cannot have flops) or u just want a reason to bash 😕

Box Office: October crosses the Rs. 42 crore mark in two weeks

October has managed a fair total in its first two week run. The film currently stands at Rs. 42.50 crore* mark and should eventually go past the Rs. 45 crore number during its lifetime. This is where it would stop though since Avengers: Infinity War is arriving like a hurricane and is set to smash records left, right and centre. This would practically not give any film even a breathing chance.

After the second weekend it had seemed that the Varun Dhawan and Shoojit Sircar film had an outside chance to come close to the Rs. 50 crore mark. However for that the weekdays needed to be super stable and much closer to the second Friday numbers [Rs. 1.89 crore]. That didn't happen though as there was more than a 50% fall on the second Monday [Rs. 0.90 crore] and collections continued to dip on rest of the weekdays. As a result, it was quite apparent that the film would have a limited showcasing in its third week and would practically be out of theatres soon after.

Still, the film has at least emerged a coverage affair and has done the kind of business that was expected when the audience word of mouth was heard on the opening day.

Finally watched October on a lazy sultry Saturday afternoon & came out feeling heavy yet happy. Loved the silences, the low light camerawork & the background score. @Varun_dvn is so good as Dan. There's so much more to him than the dancing & the masala. Super impressed.

#October @Varun_dvn @ShoojitSircar a great film dealt with sensitivity. VD cmpletely in da skin of da character. Vulnerable, funny, perceptive.the theater was almost full in its 3rd week for a film without da usual bollywood formula. Audience tastes r growing wider!
