A good movie..I dint find it boring or dragging at all.
Rani is the life of Hichki..how casually beautiful she looks and has acted.I would love to have a teacher like her..an absolute sweetheart.

Hichki Tuesday Update

Hichki has held on strongly on Tuesday with hardly any drop from the day before. The film is course for a 24 crore nett first week and then then day eight will decide where it can go. There is a big release with Baaghi but Hichki is for a different audience so it could be that Baaghi does not affect it that much. The first five day collections of Hichki are as follows

Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 5,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 6,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,25,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 2,25,00,000 apprx

Total - 19,75,00,000 apprx

nice movie clean no cringworthy sex scenes simple u dont need sex vulgarity or nude scenes to make a hit simple story with a simple backdrop n sincere performance will do anyone remembers bekar oops sorry befikr

Seen it last night

It's was good one time watch, damn I always fall for those simple movies, and this one too

Movies does have flaws , but must say rani keeps you engaged . A good performance from. Her.Don't know I like Ranis husky voice/ hitchki, always found her voice hatke

I will give 3/5 , give it a try no harm!

Just watched it tonight and I really liked it. Simple but meaningful story. I am biased towards movies, documentaries, celebrities etc that shine light on educational disparities as well as medical conditions that are associated with stigmas.

Rani was awesome throughout! Really love how realistically she played someone with tourettes. Never looked forced. The kids were also a treat to watch.

Glad its doing well- it deserves to.

Hichki Sustains In Week One

Hichki has had a decent first week of 26 crore nett after a poor start when it released. The film picked up on Saturday and maintained very well on Monday and then towards the end of the week the holiday factor helped on Wednesday evening and Thursday.

The film has fared best in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore with West Bengal the best circuit comparatively. The first week figure of Mardaani which was the last Rani Mukherjee starrer was 22.94 crore nett so the film is 14% up on that film in the first week.

There is Baaghi 2 to contend with this week but that film has a different target audience and that limited audience for Hichki in the metros may not be too interested in a film like Baaghi 2 so it could still continue to go strong in week two. There is the Good Friday holiday to help also.
