You noticed the unnatural increase but overlooked that in last 24 hours the followers increase was only 1K, normally she gets 25-30K followers daily. It was a technical error, now Twitter is leveling that up by not increasing her followers count. Leveling up will continue for next 12 to 15 days. Keep tabs on her low follower increase for next few days then jump to conclusion.

It's because Tiger Zinda Hai had worldwide premier on Sunday which was promoted everywhere on social network site.
Also the official announcement of her film with Varun Dhawan (on the same day as TZH), so Varun fans must have followed her on insta too.
Also her film Zero is releasing on Christmas which is carrying a huge buzz because of SRK and the reunion of trio (SRK-Kat-Anu) after 6 years. 😃

Also IMO Kat Insta account has the most intresting posts compare to other actresses (all they have usual promotion posts 😆). So its more likely that her Insta followers will increase. ⭐️
