Katrina goes from 9m to 9.5m followers on Insta in ONE day!!

her followers normally show an increase of 0.1 million in a span of 3-4 days

but yesterday she jumped from 9m to 9.5 million followers in a day itself..

going by the normal trend..this would have taken 20 days instead of just 1

normally such increase happens or can happen when

a) it is a movie release

b) you get married

c) you attended a big event like Cannes etc

here it is none of these

is that an insta error?

or a case of buying followers?

or just a normal case of many following her? may be that day was just lucky and heavy on followers..

lets talk #insta

no offence intended..this is just a fun thread..

i genuinely am interested in knowing how insta works..

National Televison Premiere of TZH and her movie announcement with Varun Dhawan could be the reason. Also she became ambassador for Educate Girls on the same day. If Priya Varrier can do why can't Katrina?

So right, the movie buzz of Zero, Dance movie with Varun are interesting projects. Whats wrong if Katrina's followers have increased? thats a good enough, had they failed then thats a cause for concern. Khush rehne do bhai

Almost everyone buys followers. Better metric is to see what amount of likes and retweets (on twitter) they get. Some of them are very shady and have a high amount of followers but hardly get as many likes as they should.

Better barometer than likes is number of comments. There are already like factories which boost up number of likes too.
