I felt Karishma was the best thing about DTPH. And I was mad at Rahul for falling for madhuri instead of karishma.

In my childhood I have watched judaai more than 10 times as it was played quite often on zee cinema. Urmila was good. I hated sridevi for being such a selfish & materialistic wife in it. But that's the power of an actor whose so convincing in any role.

No. Madhuri was the number 1 actress from 1992 to 1997.

Urmila in Judaai. I can bear her but never Karishma. Karisma can't act. She looks stupid and OTT acting always. 🥱

And hello, after Kuch Kuch Hota hai.. Kajol was No. 1 for a lonnnggg time.

Both movies were hit and they both got acclaim too.

Karishma had Raja Hindustani before it so it wasn't her big break. Urmila had Rangeela as well.

But who do you think got a bigger push? May be Karishma? But she never made it to #1 but neither did Urmila.

So what say?

First of all, Karisma never made it to #1?????? 😲

Secondly, they didn't quit because they didn't want to do supporting roles to one diva, but then go ahead and do another supporting role to an equally big diva in another film. 😆

Karisma's excuse was "my secretary made a mistake with the dates".

Interestingly Juhi Chawla was offered both these roles.

To answer the question. Karisma by far benefitted much much more from DTPH than Urmila did from Judaai. I still can't believe Lolo won a NATIONAL AWARD though. She was really good, but come on. I think I like Urmila's performance better than Karisma's now too, having recently rewatched Judaai. 😲

@Rekha_ji...it was sridevi tribute week they aired judaai n me too rewatch it though i don't like the film for its story...urmila's performance was definitely good than karishma's in DTPH...she has a good chemistry with anil too...there is no chance of anybody to overshadow sridevi...she is league of her own...but urmila steals the show of her own scenes by making her presence...

yup it was hilarious...both opt out due to of not wanting to work with one big diva to another equally big diva...in the end they had to work with both the legends...

I find it hilarious...these actresses says that sridevi is my inspiration to come into films...madhuri is my inspiration to come into films but when it comes to working with both legends...they chicken out...i mean working with sridevi n madhuri...one can learn from them...furthermore both are humble n encouraging...it will be a great experience working with them if it was me i would jump into the project just to work n learn from them n these actresses gets scared they will go unnotice...or some even compete...fake people...
