I have no issues with Khilji discussion.. Even the discussion in the other PV thread was acceptable but this, no... When a member here says that any member here supports terrorism and no one seems to find it objectionable, the thread is worthy of being closed as far as I am concerned.. This is a point of no return.. Have seen it during ADHM.. Have no intention or yearning to revisit it

I've had my morality and upbringing questioned. So what gives?

If someone says I support terrorism or violence, that doesn't make it true. Its a stupid f**king forum in the end. It's not as if the NYT headlines is naming me a terrorist.

I understand your point of view. IMO locked threads are the worst though. Its better off that people express themselves rather than bottle up resentment.

Perhaps.. Its not like mere kehne se lock hojaega anyways😆 I did not report it but I did not like it either.. It just shows how actually close minded we all are..
Bold: Can't argue with that😆

I hope, you did not consider my sarcastic post as my support to that member. 🤪

EXACTLY. This is the kind of divisive rhetoric peddled by religious bigots themselves to feel victimized. Instead of looking at the bigger picture (that he's a barbaric invader), people are make a furor over trivialities like Khilji's looks, eating habits yada yada. Who the fudge cares if he's a lover of art or a philistine or that he had impeccable table manners?

Hitler has been satirised into a joke in various television shows and movies, the German's are not getting butt hurt over it, like some members here.

And whilst we're on Hitler, I've heard/read that he was a good painter and a vegetarian, I guess that trumps the 6 million Jews he killed.

Yes if anything they took the safe route and for the better part of last century Raheem chacha was the typical Muslim character in Indian movies

You know, the kindly, saintly, elderly Muslim gentleman... or the Sher Khan of "Zanzeer" who was so fiercely loyal and protective of his friend, the hero Inspector Vijay

If the Muslim character was villain then the victim was Muslim too

The depiction was usually bland and cliched... Now I know why 😉

who gives a crap about the real Khilji the guy is dead finished rotting in his grave, SLB is a romantic idiot wholikes to exaggerate and romanticize notions you can't expect realism from him he made a movie about his own personal indulgence inthe name of cinematic liberty it's his right
There have been movies made on Stalin, hitler, duke of Milan even glorified and parodied them no reaction from the West that you get in S.Asia.

Our forum? Had no idea I had ownership rights over this forum. Must ask the mods for my share of money!
Really unfortunate that a factual discussion has taken this turn.
