#Raid 3rd Friday- 1.90 cr approx. #HICHKI 2nd Friday- 2.60 cr approx. Both films are rocky steady at the box office.
Despite having the newly released much awaited Baaghi 2 in its opposite, Raj Kumar Gupta's directorial remained unaffected on 3rd Friday. Due to a holiday, the movie got a good response as the previous day and collected the amount of 1.82 crore. With this, its 15 days total collection has become 91.93 crores at the domestic box office including 90.11 crores of last 2 weeks.
Produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series Film, being a non-masala movie Raid took a decent start but picked up very well over the weekend due to positive word of mouth. By remaining steady throughout, it did the business of 63.05 crores that included 41.01 crores of the weekend and 22.04 crores of weekdays from 3400 screens.
Then in the second week as well, Ajay Devgn-Ileana D'cruz starrer successfully maintained a solid momentum despite Hichki and garnered the business of 27.06 crores that included 16.48 crores of the weekend and 10.58 crores of weekdays.
As per current trend, Raid seems all set to enter in the 100-crore club by this weekend or 3rd Monday. Soon it will become the third movie of the year to cross this mark after Padmaavat and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
#RAID is holding well in its 3rd week also, Friday collection 1.82 crores. Total collection 91.93 crores.

Lately, the box office has witnessed success and for various reasons. Some films have leveraged their content, while others have benefitted from excellent publicity, while still others have pivoted on their hero. The recently released Raid belongs to the latter category.
Before the film released, there wasn't much buzz around it, either in the trade or among the audience. The eyeballs the film got were because of the superstar presence of leading man Ajay Devgn.
The actor made a gutsy move to work on a script that was niche, especially when there were no other well-known faces in the film. Further, its director Raj Kumar Gupta had delivered a colossal flop with his last film Ghanchakar. But, because Devgn believed in the script, he went ahead with it and his faith in the movie has paid off quite well.
The movie has hit the '90-crore mark at the box office and will soon enter the 100-crore club. And when it does, it will be the first film in this genre to achieve this milestone. Interestingly, Devgn was the only one to believe the film would do this much business. The makers had assumed its lifetime business would amount to '80 crore.
Let's hope this becomes a benchmark for other stars to take some interesting risks at the box office.
