My only worry was that there would be similarity between Bajirao and Khilji, bur Veer proved me wrong.

There was just one instance, where he said this one particular dialogue, early on in the first 15 minutes of the movie like Rao. But I think after that it was all Khilji..👏⭐️

Also the chess scene with Ratan and Khilji, where Khilji says, "ab Raja bhi khatrey main hai!" that was really powerful..like even Ratan Singh was taken aback for a minute..
I am appreciating the movie a lot more now, compared to the actual watch😆

And the tent scene when he meets Ratan alone and mentions how that one bird of his died and imitates its chirping. Damn, the tent scene was another fab one.

I really wanna see it again for this reason, cause I know I must have missed many more aspects of his performance. Need to see it once again to truly enjoy it.

Another iconic scene was his eyebrow lift after he cons his army into fighting.

Same here! They had a twisted love-hate relationship like he tortured Mehru yet couldn't kill her n even got emotional at her betrayal. I also liked how she answered him esp in last bit.

My most fav scene of Ranveer is the first scene , that was so unpredictable because we were expecting Khilji , the maniac . Same goes to Jim , the change of expression when Khilji asked him to kill the king was menacing . I like his subtle jealous expression too especially when Khilji takes Padmavati's name with so much obsession , at one point for a second Khilji showed a soft corner to him and touched his cheeks but again continued his PV rant😆

You know I thought he would definitely kill her but he probably loved her in his own twisted way which is why he always let her get away with the taunts.

I think all these were common in that era . I mean the status of women were really low and most of them worshipped the masculinity .But I really want a movie of that era from a woman's perspective .
