I am SRK fan, I am not part of the fan group of SRK fans here. But I have to say SRK is a living legend, he will not be defeated by actors who have not been in the industry for less then 10 years. Khans have been ruling for almost 30 years being the leading men. They will not be threaten with kapoors singhs or any newcomers😆

Anyways I'm happy PV is becoming the biggest Hit of the year so far.⭐️ Great way to start the year👏

Spoiler Alert: I love that Intro scene of Deepi in the beginning of the movie. Also Love that scene between Shahid and Ranveer at the dinner table where he is exchanging the food plate. Funny scene, great acting by both of them😆

I watched the film a few days ago! I like SLB movies because they're art in motion...he pays attention to every single frame and the mise en scene is always on point. Ranveer's acting was great, though he was a bit OTT every now and then. Shahid did not carry a very "kingly demeanour but I enjoyed his subtle acting. Deepika looked gorgeous, and I absolutely love how she emotes through her eyes.

As for the storyline...pretty shit and boring. I was waiting for the film to end after one point. I could only hold on because of the beautiful looking frames.

Padmaavat Sneaks Into Worldwide Top Ten

Padmaavat managed to sneak into the top ten worldwide openings of all time as it set an all time record in Overseas becoming the biggest opening weekend of all time. The India position of the film was 14th. It is the only non Khan film in the top ten while in the top fifteen there are two non Khan films Padmaavat and Golmaal Again

The interesting thing is that if we give a value to the territories when it was not released the worldwide weekend would be bigger than Tiger Zinda Hai at 195 crore. But for this to happen it would have needed huge luck as the controversy to create the hype would have to be there which did happen and then a clean release which did not happen. Below are the top fifteen opening weekends of all time. (All collections for Hindi language only and three days only)

1. Sultan - 210.50 crore

2. Bahubali: The Conclusion - 209.68 crore

3. Dangal - 198.64 crore

4. Dhoom 3 - 194.30 crore

5. Tiger Zinda Hai - 189.24 crore

6. Bajrangi Bhaijaan - 187.24 crore

7. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - 185.15 crore

8. PK - 175.78 crore

9. Happy New Year - 174.56 crore

10. Padmaavat - 162.49 crore

11. Chennai Express - 159.53 crore

12. Dilwale - 144.83 crore

13. Golmaal Again - 134.47 crore

14. Raees - 128.14 crore

15. Kick - 125.55 crore

Padmaavat First Tuesday Business

Padmaavat did very well on its first Tuesday with business of 13.25 crore nett and this figure has come with normal weekday ticket rates. The drop from the previous day is around 7% which is excellent. In the North the collections are better than day one at many centers.

The film which took a huge start in Mumbai and South is now holding best in the North. Mumbai is also outstanding but the holds are less than North due to the better start. In Nizam / Andhra it may turn out to be the biggest Hindi grosser of all time outside Bahubali - The Conclusion. The business of Padmaavat till date is as follows.

Wednesday - 4,25,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 17,75,00,000 apprx

Friday - 31,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 27,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 29,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 14,25,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 13,25,00,000 apprx

Grand Total - 1,37,25,00,000
