Folks,
just watched this movie on-line, in an ok quality,... And, sure will watch in Bluray DVD quality later, once more,... !

Here are my findings and opinions,... ( many Spoilers Alert )

Movie is in-line with all SLB's movie with perfect still and frame like a painting, every scene, ...and somehow imo, Bajirav mastani, Raam-leela and devdas I found above this movie,.. .. this movie's holding power' remains a little less than those,..

IMO, Khilji is not shown that much wild / Mad or aadi-manav type, that I read and heard from many, ( He is, but not that much ) and yess,... Khilji and Padmavati are never shown in any single frame so, no chance of face to face dialects, or rape / love / pulling Pallu,... mujara/nachaniya giri / arguments of dialect baaji or any such,... ! No nothing,...

Ghoomer song is a little holding one,.. Dipika's steps are ok,. Still not that good like Piggy, ash or madhuri in, BM and devdas,...n' rest songs are junk, boring and of not that attractive sets either,... ! At certain stages, movie also gives you yawns ( drags in boredom zone ) ,...
IMO,.. just like BM, Piggy was needing, than aditi ravo,... Raza murad is just ok ( short role ),.. and Shahid's acting is a joke, due to their childish body-look and immature body-structure and face,...,...
Ranveer , has now already surpass, 3 khans... and aces with main-shoulder hero of such major budget movies,..

Perhaps, when padmavati goes to meet Khilji, at that time they may have engaged in argument-baazi, ( in earlier scenes - my guess ) but it seems,.. after so much hoopla,... Naturally SLB, deleted those scenes and she escaped from Khilji's adda, without even " Mukhar-vandan " , which was promised,...!

Sahhid kapoor, as always seems like a choco boy of teen age,.. and hence imo is not a proper justification here,.. perhaps,... " Prem rattan dhan paayo " ' s Salman was needed here as Ratan singh,.

War scenes did not find that excellent like Bahubali, Troy, Excalibur, Mughle-aazam, hunger games, and other many such Killah-war movies,...

Johar scenes I found ok, and perhaps with more efforts could had shown all the way, on-fire agni-kund,... till jumped in the fire with chanting and burning Om-swaha,.. and till the ashes,.. but at the end, it seems like movie turns black screen,.. 10 minutes earlier,.... ( movie ends 5-10 minutes earlier than expectation..., and except last 25 minutes of real holding,... rest,.. lags and drags in boredom-zone, at couple of times ) Johar speech could had been made even 3 times more effective ( since it is the most major event of our history than end speeches of Big B in Mohabbatein, K3G, Baghbaan ,...
And Rajput's " Kesariya " could had shown more effective, than what is shown,.. On Top of every Rajasthanii Killah, the slots are for pouring the Hot Oils in big vessels,...over the enemy, dunno how come, SLB missed that, in fight-scenes !

IMO, Movie remains fairy, fictitious and filmy story on many and Major occasions ( just like movie BM ) and divorces from reality, naturally,...

As per the history, science and technicality,... Padmavti character is also an imaginary ( Ratan singh and Khilji are real characters ) and created by a Poet from stories Vedas and Shastra,...( imo ) for the following reasons..

On the top of any such Rajasthani Killah, the Slots you see, was ( not for firing at that time, as were having no guns during taht time,.. ) n' also having a nick/gutter on the fort on other side of slots,..,...and they were meant to pour the hot n' boiling oil on enemies, who tried to climb it from the other side,...

I dunn'o why Bhansaali failed to show those thingies,...during fights,..

Also, in Rajasthaanis dessert areas, where a big trunk of tree were never available,...
so, they were bringing a camel and camel.s were standing against the door parallel to it,...standing at big nails
and 2-3 Hugh elephants were used for pushing the camels to break the Killah's doors,
so camel/s would die,... but elephants never would get nails in their foreheads, n' getting mad,...and were used to breaking the gates of Killah, by pushing the camels,..

I wish that there would be more Bollywood movies in my hometown but there very few Indian family here. So it is not lucrative here. I was so suprised that the first Padmavati screening was almost fully booked. People seems to have come from others cities too.
Good thing is that a very few Germans were also there. Hopefully in future there will be more movies.
