Frasier: Dr. MacLowery! What are you doing?
MacLowery: [takes off his headphones] Oh, that was a ball change,
leading to a riff drop. You've got to "Lick it & Stick
it."

Exactly my reaction to the list. 😆
Also,if anyone hasn't seen Frasier then you are missing out on comedy gold of an era. The writing is absolutely brilliant to say the least.

Frasier is hilarious

Frasier: In the last week, I've uprooted myself from my home of fifteen years, moved all the way across the country away from everything I care about, and plunged myself into a frightening new career! The first few nerve-racking moments, I walk in here and find my Producer lobbying to get herself transferred to another show! Abe Lincoln had a brighter future when he picked up his tickets at the box office!

Also dont give much weight to Raja Sen but kinda glad Sridevi didnt make it as all I saw in the film Mom was her shrieking at a level only dogs would understand 😆

you don't get tired of reiterating that statement for the nth time, do you? 😆

P.S: Raja rated Sridevi No.1 in 2012 list and titled it saying WHAT.A.RETURN!

Vidhya truly deserves the no1 spot being the solid emotional, comedic core of the film. Vidhya's act was part playful/crazy, part sober and damn relatable. She brilliantly brought alive the chronicles of a housewife's transformation without missing a beat. Even when the story went haywire in 2nd half her heartwarming portrayal made us invested in the story and root for sulu.

I was also greatly impressed with Zaira. At this age, pulling off a demanding role in a complex story isn't at all an easy job, but boy, how she delivered! She nailed every emotion the character must feel, her joy, despair, anger..so effortlessly.

My other picks would be the towering performances of Kangana as simran (over julia for me) and Ratna as buaji in Lipstick.

Its how I feel about the film and her performance. Just cause 100 people out there with different opinions what can I do. Everyone knows I got no problem telling those people what they can do with their opinions 😆😆😆

Im not surprised about 2012 as English Vinglish was a nice film. I didnt enjoy to a large extent. But it was better than Mom. ⭐️

Also the films I saw this year were not really female driven but from what I saw the girl in Toilet did well in her role. Where is her name on this list ??

Same for me. I was surprised that he picked Rangoon over Simran. I thought her character's arc came better in Simran... she acted the hell out of every frame she was in. Sloppy editing in Rangoon impacted Julia's arc... nevertheless she was fabulous in Rangoon. Glad he put a spot light on it.

Baradwaj Rangan picked Kangana in Simran as best actress this year.

Glad these critics are putting spotlight on her earnest efforts. May she strike gold with Manikarnika.

Now that you mention it I have very little use for Katrina Kaif but she was funny in Jagga Jasoos. I know she got a puffy face but she was the sun shine in that film 😆⭐️

i didn't like kangana in rangoon, she had the most screen time but I didn't feel her in the character, she had no chemistry with any of the characters.

I thought Kangana was much better in Rangoon, so I think she should be in this list.
The only other movie I saw was BKB, which I thought was a boring film. Kriti was decent in it though

Where's Bhumi Pednekar?😕
