SRK gets ready for KBC

True to his style and brand of dedication Shah Rukh Khan is working hard at getting into the skin of his new job. In preparation for taking on the mantle of the country's hottest game show job, the actor has put up imitation sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati at his home, Mannat in Bandra, Mumbai. He has also asked friends to play contestants at the show.

SRK gets ready for KBC

Not only will SRK be take on Indian televison's most desirable job, when he starts off in January. He also inherits the post from The Legend -- Amitabh Bachchan.

If reports are to be believed, King Khan will take home a pay package that is double of what Big B was drawing.

A look at Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay

Jai might have just been chosen, but Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay is well underway. From the looks of it, the film may release in May 2007. From Jai in the 1975 original, Amitabh Bachchan will move on to play villain Gabbar Singh's role. Interestingly, he had always wanted to play Gabbar, even when Ramesh Sippy was directing the classic.

"I wanted to play Gabbar when I first heard the script," Bachchan had said. "But I was disappointed when Ramesh Sippy said that Amjad Khan would do it. I had to be satisfied with Jai's role. Gabbar's role is beautiful. He has great dialogues and the best scenes in the film."
