Rohit Shetty's cop-drama, Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan passed with flying colours, all due to the extremely positive response from critics and audience alike. Since the day Simmba hit the silver screen, the film has been exceptionally well at the box office. In just five days, Ranveer Singh starrer crossed the 100 crore mark and raked in Rs 200 crore at the worldwide BO. Rohit Shetty held a special screening of Simmba last night as well. The screening was attended by the industry veterans.

Not only the film but Ranveer Singh portrayal as a cop (Sangram Bhalerao) is being applauded by masses as well. To know the reaction of the audience, Ranveer visited Gaiety Galaxy with his director and was overwhelmed to see the thunderous response from the public. Produced under Karan Johar's banner, Dharma Productions and Rohit Shetty Picturez, Simmba released on December 28.

His favourite memory of Simmba is meeting ramvRan for the first time. He had seen veer in the gym earlier but didn't wanna disturb him.so when veer met him, veer joked about seeing him lifting weights.
