Here's the real reason why Shahid Kapoor wants more space in 2nd 'Padmavati' trailer

We hear Shahid is not happy with the response his character got so he has had a word with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali

After the first trailer of Padmavati was out, Ranveer Singh's turn as Alauddin Khilji got an overwhelming response, while Shahid Kapoor's act as Maharawal Ratan Singh hasn't created a huge buzz.

We hear Shahid is not happy with the response his character got so he has had a word with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He has requested the filmmaker to give his character more space in the second trailer, which is due in a few days. He wants his character to be liked. Let's wait and watch.

I understand his concerns.

He got conspicuously overshadowed by the mad king.

However, that may be only due to the atypical antics of Khilji which can get OTT and monotonous at a point. If Ratan's character has nuances, who knows we may have a game on!

Better be an underdog :D
For me he was the only good thing about the trailer , can already see ranveer going OTT in the name of madness .

i feel the pairing of dips and shahid awful, they look like chota bhai and badi didi
but i hope Shahid gives a subtle act and it overshadows, loud, cartoonish OTT act of khilji.

Why keep releasing trailers to gain accolades. Let the movie release he will get everything he rightly deserves right then and there. I feel like too many trailers and songs will only hamper the movie unless its being done to appease the gunda gangs.

If true then this is rediculous, sk shud be confident bout his role instead of demanding he gets a tailor made trailer to showcase himself, sk and dp got dialogue and more screen time than rs in the trailer, bur still sk is not satisfied? I hope thisis not true, coz if it then it's sad

Plus one trailer is enough, having a second one wud reveal too much bout the film

What if ranveer gets most praise e in 2nd trailer too this men is such big loser I can't digest what kind of arrogant he has for what he got most scenes in trailer can't he accept public will likes what ever they wants to showing trailer all about Jim will not change public mind that's why I don't like this guy tweeting crap and in intv showin g his attitude loser he is

Tbh, that 1 dialogue Shahid said, I didn't like the delivery at all. Very weak.

But I have faith that he's a good actor and does better in the movie 😆

Well there hasn't been a single dialogue till now, so can't comment on his acting. But he is really looking weird with all that heavy outfit and jewellery, it looks like he is lost behind everything, he is barely noticeable. Anyways he should be confident of his abilities, everyone would know how good or bad he was after watching the movie.
