As anticipated, the first glimpse of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati has made the audience go completely gaga. The trailer of the epic period drama was released a few days back and garnered rave reviews. Whether it was Deepika Padukone's gorgeous, strong Indian avatar, Shahid Kapoor's intimidating Rajput attitude or Ranveer Singh's savage dark side, the audience was vowed in every frame, thanks to its grand backdrop.

At a time when many big stars have delivered flops, Padmavati is said to become the saving grace of the box office for 2017. Looking at the response that the trailer has received, the film is also expected to rake in collections as big as Baahubali: The Conclusion. It will definitely be good news for the industry if this wish of the makers, to do huge business, and the audience, to see another larger-than-life film, comes true.

Aditi Rao Hydari is the fourth lead actor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati. While the buzz has been on the Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone story, Aditi has been hard at work, shooting for the film. "I was shooting till two days before the trailer launch. I was also looking forward to the trailer which looks amazing, she says.

Aditi, who is actually the only member of the star cast who belongs to a royal lineage, plays Allauddin Khilji's begum in the film. "I am so happy to be a part of a film like this and work with such great actors and talent. But I have been shooting for the film and have not seen much of it. So, I am really looking forward to it, she says.

While the rest of the star cast has been the talk of the town, we wonder how big a part this understated actress has in the film.
