Not sure if this is relevant. It could be a coincidence.

I found it interesting that the Padmavati threats of violence are aimed at Deepika (female) and SLB (rumored by some to be gay)

But the two cisgender heterosexual men have nothing against them.

Nope the threats were first against Ranveer and SLB albeit not through news channels but through YT videos. For the mallike E chitoor tweet , the team removed him from the scheme of promotions due to that.

SK is the only one who has not been mentioned by the protesters.

Currently, the movie has stirred quite a controversy despite excellent work from Deepika Padukone. However, the movie will be releasing soon.
