Dream cast for Padmavati? - Page 2

^Shahid doesn't work at all. He has no gravitas. Who can take him seriously?

Fawad in place of Shahid as Ratan and the rest is perfect.

Hrithik as Khilji
Fawad Khan as Ratan
Aishwariya as Padmavati (if camera work can make kajol look the way she did in dilwale then with some tweaking aishwariya can look a bit younget to suit with Fawad)

I personally think the current cast is perfect.

Frankly Aishwarya can be Cold blooded Mastani but for Rani Padmini you need someone Fierce not just someone who can look like a doll, dance away and cannot emote with Eyes.

IMO Aishwarya cannot emote with Eyes and show across the internal strength required by Rani Padmini. She is good at Nok Jhok playful roles.

Rani has that Majestic appeal, she is convincing as a fierce loved goddess queen who is so courageous not some delicate flower

I concur. Can't see Aish as Rani Padmini for the same reasons, there is no warmth in her eyes & she seems a like a total ice princess. That warmth & internal strength is an integral part of Rani Padmini, not just looks! Aish is more suited to play delicate & pretty princesses like Jodha IMO.

And I love your other casting choices, too. :) I miss Vivek-Rani pairing...

Good SLB let go Aish, she may look good at times but her screechy voice ruins the entire movie. If SRK would be Khilji it would do be another 60 crore disaster as nobody goes to watch him on big screen😆.

+1000.A weak actor like SRK would have ruined Khilji with his over the top act.
