I like who is in the final version but, I was thinking of some alternative choices too! I wouldn't mind seeing Randeep Hooda or Vicky Kaushal as Ratan Singh. And I would have loved Aditi Rao Hydari as queen Padmavati. Ranveer can stay! 😆

Aditi lacks the spark ,even maniratnam couldn't make her likeable. From the current heroines I can imagine only Deepika as Padmavati. Perhaps Sonakshi can play the role of Rajput Rani cause she does have Indian features and height.

The rumor I had read in PV was that Deepika didn't agree to work with a relatively unknown actor and wanted a bigger star which IMO is false since his father is part of bhansali team and part of Padamvati itself.

I am just disappointed with SK as Ratan Singh. IMO he neither has the look, height or charishma to be Rajput King. Sorry. And he aint growing on me even after the trailer!

I would anyday prefer Randeep, HR, Milind S or even Irfan Khan as the king than SK. No offense to him, he might be good and nailing the role, but unable to digest him as the king.
