I don't understand the unnecessary bashing for every other actor. Credit should be given where it is due.
I don't think he is a very good actor, but he is decent enough. He has a crowd pulling capacity and has given hits one after the other. If Judwaa 2 is doing good business then it is proof enough that Varun can sell any movir he does even if that includes rehashing an old movie.
There have been many remakes that didn't work but this did work. So, let's not disregard Varun's star power only because he has a flimy background and shouting nepotism every time his movie works. Nepotism cannot force people to spend their money and go to theaters.
