Bollywood has been going through slow down due to lack of creativity and old rinse and repeat formula, and most trailer have failed to connect to the right audience. Then came a movie which is a remake of old movie, same songs, same story, same dialogues, and some cringe worthy scene (kissing actress mom's and objectifying her as khatara gaadi) yet manages to get great opening of 16+ cr. Judwaa 2 managed to get 3500 screen count, which is great because even established actor like Akshay (TEPK 3200), Ajay (badshaho 2800) , even SRK (JHMS 3200) are struggling to get 3500 screen count. New actors like Sid (Gentlemen 2000), Ayushman (Bareliy ki barfi 900) or Sushant (Raabta 1800) get max 2000 screen count. A combination of right director and right production = greater screen count. No doubt movie that had weak story failed at the box office but in the end screen count matters. Varun is undoubtedly new star but nepotism rocks...!! 🥳
