Otherwise Sakina has stated everything I wanted to in a more blunt way.
Keeping her success and talent aside, DP's personality is a major turnoff. Would I want to befriend someone who has a somewhat made up personality? I mean she is just not herself and has this desperate urge to appear likable. Why would otherwise anyone wish her ex BF's current on Twitter especially when you clearly despise her and she is not even on Twitter. These are the things she does to grab headlines against her will. Again major off-putting trait in someone. Also she has a clear tendency to appease the majority. When #mychoice video was receiving backlash , she very conveniently threw Homi - who is a close friend of hers - under the bus and tried to wash her hand of the controversy. She ostensibly does things not based on who she is.
I will much rather befriend a Anushka who is upfront on things she likes and dislikes and appears genuine even in her ooppsii and cringeworthy moments.

Oh no, was I really blunt? 😆 I honestly don't care enough about actors or actresses to really hate or really love them so I try not to be too harsh. I agree with your opinions though.. and especially about the two-faced game using PR. It's hard to trust people like that.

As far as I know Kangana started with it after the Filmfare Award Show blaming Deepika that she never congratulated her etc. Before that they have been cordial to each other as far as I know.

I honestly feel success can make someone feel jealous and show hatred towards that successful person. I'm sure Kangy successful comeback in TWMR burnt many people in BW. I have seen jealousy take over when someone is successful and have personally experienced it even. Ofcourse I know even Kangy hates DP and that could be personal reasons that i don't want to comment about. Otherwise I honestly don't see any other reason for the dislike Anushka and Sonam shows towards DP. And that is also because they are rivals in their work. About being fake or not, only DP can say. I cannot vouch for another human being's inner thoughts. Neither can I vouch for Kangy's. I love them for their work onscreen and have learnt to keep their offscreen persona away. Some fans here are too blinded by fandom but even that's fine(I cannot dictate how a fan should think and do)

@bold people write essays on feminism here but can't digest a man and woman being friends. SMH😵

Deepika is BFF with Anaita Shroff too who is Homi's wife.

Why does SRK not like her? Kangana, Sonam are mean women. I understand why they don't like her. PC seems okay with her. The younger actresses seem okay with her as well as the older. I don't know why Anushka isn't.

I don't really buy the aggressive PR theory because everyone has a PR. Not like they can't post stories like that too. And also because I don't think Deepika is that mean to anyone in blinds. Her PR might post stories where she was the supposed first choice for a movie but that's not mean. That's petty but PR game is petty. It's possible she tries to cash in on her controversies like with RK. But, I think that's more because she is over him and wants to reduce that whole episode to something she's completely detached with. Something she doesn't mind encashing, because she doesn't care. Just like RK doesn't care about using his relationships for his benefit in media. The fact that she gets called out on it so many times, shows she is such an amateur at this.

OT: Anushka, Sonam are forever insecure and fake people. They don't need any reason to hate Deepika.

PC vs DP is created by media for obvious reasons. I don't think PC hates DP but they weren't BFF to begin with. It was all created by media. Just because they did one kwk epi together that doesn't mean they are BFF. Even Pari and Alia did one kwk epi together but in reality they are not fond of each other.

Katrina doesn't really have any reason to hate Deepika other than Deepika became successful and stole her no 1 place in bw. Her insecurity makes her hate Deepika.

Kangna called actresses as "public property" in her love letters so don't expect anything from her. She's the biggest mean girl in Bw.

Rest of the actresses Alia, Kirti, Parineeti admire Deepika.

i think when you are working in the entertainment business it is normal that there will be people who don't like you.

In my opinion Deepika tries to be cordial with everyone. It is nice thing and it will ensure that she always be able to work with them if a chance comes.
If you badmouth someone it can be awkward to work with them in future...

But I don't think that Deepika is really interested to have a real or deep friendship with someone inside the business...
She seems to have a close circle of friends outside the business and it seems that Ranveer is the only one who she is close to and who also knows her family and friends from her private life...
