every year is touted to be anushka's year since like forever but that just doesn't happen

where as others despite multiple releases are no where close

how can they not hate her..

and I never buy this crap..we don't believe in this no.1 thing..i don't want to be no.1 BS! of course you do..we all do..just because you aren't..doesn't mean you don't wana be..

That's the only thing I can think of (apart from PR stunts maybe) that makes them all so bitter towards Deepika because she keeps coming back with hits, blockbusters and really good performances. Needless to say, she's been taking the awards too.

Anushka has always had problem with deepika from debut, she just couldn't digest the fact that Deepika is ahead of her professionally. And anushka has next to little tact in answering questions. She is consistently rude to Ranveer. Just because she doesn't know how to be polite it isn't deepika's fault.

and sonam the less said better, she called aish as aunty out of jealousy.. and obviously she'll be burning Everytime she sees Deepika succeed coz they started together.

Kat for obvious reasons.

Apart from these three, Alia, Parineeti, sonakshi all the other actresses even PC had good things to say about her. Even the older actresses appreciate her.

These 3 actresses can't be yardstick for 'how likeable deepika is '

So PC is ok with DP? That's why I've made the topic because it seems like quite a few dislike her and I wasn't sure if her and PC share the same fondness they once did.

The less I say about Sonam the better. Anushka I enjoy watching onscreen, in fact I loved her debut more than Deepikas! It's just that DP improved so much, she forced me to become a fan.

All of them has been victims of DP's aggressive PR propaganda. That's one reason I can think of right off the bat. Also, all her competitors are exes of her current or ex BF. So I don't exactly blame them. It sort of tends to get weird 😆

Regarding PC and DP, they were never BFFs. They feigned it during promotins and that was clearly visible at least to me. The DeepYanka ship was never destined to take off. I can sort of understand why. They both have massively different persona and BM's one sided appreciation didn't sit well with them.

Hmmm, I'd guess that they (those who've been quite blatant about it) find her really annoying yes. It could be due to her success but I think it's more than that because there have been a lot of successful actresses, actresses who've given the most hits in a year etc but they've never received this kinda reaction as far as I know.

Her PR and fakeness probably plays a major part. Her PR fakeness is hinted at more than anyone else I think, I'm just remembering Kareena's comment on KWK 😆

I personally don't like her private persona since #CleavageGate. Found the whole thing and her part in it so fake. I also think Kangana's reason for not liking her is justified - Deepika did do this fake sucking-up act on stage &Kangana's point was, you never privately congratulated me on my role in Queen, why are you waxing lyrical in front of the camera. I don't know how true all the other stuff is about the rest of their communication but I definitely found Deepika weird on that Filmfare stage, one of those who use any opportunity to build a fake image of themselves. ,

The other thing is Deepika herself is massively insecure of Priyanka Chopra. It probably didn't help that she stole all the credit from her in BM. That video of her in the American airport where she was being called Priyanka.. and her ego wouldn't even make her respond that actually her name is Deepika. And then in India calling it racism when it was just ignorance.. yeah, not her finest moment.

And I just can't get on board with someone who still hasn't taken her ex's initials off her body. It's seriously creepy. Wouldn't be surprised if all the Kapoors disliked her for that lol.

In retaliation, yes. But DP's PR has been singled out as something which is nasty and goes beyond professional tangent. I am not sure if you were around back in 2015-16 when some actresses including AS and SK alluded to DP's aggressive PR machinery without taking name. Although it was very clear who they were talking about. Frankly, it's my firm conviction that her PR machinery is one of the reasons as to why she failed to grab a Salman move notwithstanding repeated attempts.

I wasn't active here then so no idea. It's pathetic if her PR does get nasty like that. TBH she doesn't even need to do all that, her talent speaks for itself and she's getting movies based on her own merit surely.
