Comedian Kapil Sharma has been making headlines ever since his infamous brawl with Sunil Grover came in the limelight. If this wasn't enough, Kapil's health continued to be the cause of concern for him and his show, The Kapil Sharma Show, which led to him taking a sabbatical.
Now, there's both a good and a bad news for his fans. Well, good news first!
The comedian returned to Mumbai from Bengaluru on Sunday where he was undergoing an anti-toxification treatment at an Ayurvedic centre. According to a report in a leading daily, the treatment was supposed to last for 40 days but Kapil begged the doctors to get it done in 12 days.
"He needed to return to Mumbai to complete his film Firangi and start promoting and marketing it for its November release, Kapil's close friend told a leading daily.
Now, regarding reports of Kapil returning with his popular show next month, his close friend refuted the rumours saying that he won't be returning before next year.
"Kapil is feeling much better. I can sense the changes in him. He had been pushing himself too far during the last few years. His mind and body gave warning signals. He wasn't taking these warnings seriously. Now, finally God planned this break for him. And it has done him a world of good. Kapil has stopped drinking completely, at least, for now, he said.
He further added, "The show will return only when Kapil has fully recovered. Kapil has realisedhealth is the most important thing in life. As for the show, it is very dear to him and it isn't going anywhere.
We wish Kapil a speedy recovery.
