Alia Bhatt has her plate full with movies for the next few month. Currently, Alia is shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi which is based on Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat. The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal and will see Alia play an Indian spy who is married to a Pakistani (played by Vicky).

Alia also has Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boys with Ranveer Singh and Ayan Mukerji's Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Now, according to a leading daily, the actress is now in talks to star inBareilly Ki Barfi's director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's next.

The director who is still enjoying the critical and commercial success of her latest outing that starred Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao, is keen to rope in Alia for her next movie.

Recently, when Alia was asked about how her shoot for Raazi was going on, the talented actor revealed, "I won't lie. Yes, it has been very challenging. The shooting [of the film] is still on, and I still have a month left [before its completion]. We have been shooting in almost a non-stop manner, barring a few days when the shoot got disrupted [due to the recent unrest in the region]. But overall, it has been a good and an interesting journey creatively as well as mentally. I am in Patiala right now, and I feel that when you are shooting outdoors, it's always lovely because you are only with your film dedicating all your energies and attention to it. Plus, it's lovely being in Patiala."

Alia is most certainly keeping a track of what her contemporaries are doing. I remember her and Parineeti saying during MAMI they were jealous Kriti got a movie with SRK-Kajol. Shortly after the films release we hear Alia bagging a film opposite SRK which Karan persuaded him to do. Now that Bareilly Ki Barfi is doing well she's eyeing the director as Kriti is enjoying both commercial and critical success. Alia was leaking stories that she had bagged Dilwale and that she was number one choice when Kriti had already signed the film. 😕

Honestly don't think Alia even considers Kriti a competitor. She has too much on her plate for her to look into a poorer person's plate and be jealous.

Alia has nowhere to go from here.

Like I said she is like Anu-a filler.

KJo is working his ass off-but there doesnt seem to be a single film Alia is doing which even Kriti or Bhoomi will give a shit about.

If she keeps doing small niche films she will have a career.

The biggest problem for Alia is that Kjo is not able to promote her ,like he did over the last year.

Kangana happened.His hands are tied.He himself lost his image.

Alia cannot be seen preening and posing with Kjo anymore.

Kjo can't force everyone to say Alia is the best anymore.People will kick him.

As she didn't have a strong likeable role and become the darling of the masses..

The buzz is gone.

Brands are going to Kriti for some reason..Alia just stagnated.

Alia definitely has a lot on her platter. She's capitalised her success well. No wonder she is far ahead of others. How I wish Deepika also tried this hard. Padmavati is turning out to be such a panuati.
