Aloo could be insecure of Kriti in that generic "she's better looking, taller than me" way but I really really doubt she would be jealous of her career-wise because Aloo is reigning amongst the top young actors, also otherwise too actually. She has talent. Kriti doesn't have much & yes I do know that she was praised for BKB but the lion's share went to Rajkumar Rao as everyone knew it would. Aloo does strike me to be an extremely jealous person in general though hence her jealousy of PCJr back when Jr was the Next Big Thing. Nowadays don't think she would care but would ensure that she remains at the top-- Which is what I mean by passive jealousy.

I agree. I applaud Kriti for taking a risk though with Raabta and now with Bareilly Ki Barfi the whole deglam get up and accent was different to what she's done in the past. Also I don't think it's fair to compare the two in terms of talent. Alia is an industry kid and the confidence level, backing from KJO and contacts with top directors has put her in a different league altogether. Kriti is still very raw and learning on the job. She's done very well for an outsider. She's not resorting to skin show or item numbers to move ahead in the game.

See I believe in today's days and age of so many star kids, If you only choose to do glamorous roles, You have more chance to be replaced, Kriti took a right decision of doing BKB, She is indeed pretty good in some scenes, pretty natural .She should try small budget good roles than Glamorous roles, it may give her quick money, But she won't survive, considering how sexist the industry is . I saw lot of potential in her in BKD , sadly it will not be glorified as much as a star kid's performance .

Honestly don't think Alia even considers Kriti a competitor. She has too much on her plate for her to look into a poorer person's plate and be jealous.

Alia is like a filler, how much she tries, she wont be able to be the next lady superstar
