Such rubbish! Ash in fact wanted Madhavan to be in the film. But he quoted a huge remuneration, so they had to look for other options. (Refer to article below from Mid-Day).
And it's obviously fake that she is trying to get involved in publicity and marketing. Firstly, the film's marketing hasn't even started. Secondly, even if it's in planning stage, she doesn't have enough time to promote her films, why will she get involved with marketing of a film for which she is not even the producer? Ridiculous.
It looks like a vitriolic article by someone who doesn't like Ash at all. Referring to her as La Haughty, and saying her spate of comeback films failed (reality check, Jazbaa was a flop, Sarbjit was average and ADHM was a hit - not exactly a complete failure now is it, at least compared to other actresses who tried to make a comeback?). Whoever you are, keep going at it. It's going to make no difference to her stardom or movies. Nill. Nada.

There was talk of R Madhavan being part of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's production 'Fanney Khan', starring Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The actor says he could not commit to the project due to date issues. But a birdie close to the project chirps to say Maddy asked for a whopper. As a result, the makers roped in Rajkummar Rao. Mehra and Bachchan were keen on Maddy though.
