As for feminism, all I see is people conveniently slandering feminism which again is something this forum is famous for.
Feminism just means equality between men and women and giving women the opportunities they had been denied in the past due to male dominated culture. That's it. It doesn't have a moral aspect that means women are always right or that women must always respect other women or anything like that. Nobody has to pass any moral test before they can claim to be feminists. Those kind of tests are only done so that there can always be a reason to deny them their rights by claiming they don't deserve them.
Yes, women like Priyanka and Kangana can sleep around with married men and still consider themselves feminists. It makes them immoral but it doesn't slander feminism. What slanders feminism are people who are looking for excuses to slander it and use anything they can get their hands on - in this case Kangana's personal life.
Ok, looks like that analogy was a bit too obtuse for you. Let's try a more relevant example. There was a recent case where a politician's son was accused of stalking a civil servant's daughter at night. Let's compare this story with that one. That was also a case of he said-she said, with perhaps some proof provided by the girl to support her claim. There was an attempt to discredit her with alleged pics of her with her stalker. This was proven wrong, but would it have mattered if the girl did know the guy but still felt threatened and stalked by him? NO, it is still wrong. There were attempts to discredit her saying she went to parties, went out at night etc. - was that right? Does it make it alright to stalk someone just because they like going out at night or wear miniskirts or whatever? Does it then make it alright for a woman, who say likes sleeping around, to be accused of sleeping with a man and leading him on - even when she shows proof to the contrary and is then labeled a liar on top of the alleged stalking and harassment she had to endure? What if the roles were reversed - as in this case?
Why is it ok that there is so much outrage (very just outrage) for the girl in the first stalking case? Would there be outrage for the woman or the man in the second stalking case? Why not? What is different? Is it because in the HR-KR fiasco, they are both from the entertainment industry and may have loose morals? Is that right? Is it because HR is rich and powerful, so it's ok to not take him seriously? Is it because he has a reputation? Or because many many men have exploited women and so one bali ka bakra is acceptable? Which of these reasons makes this acceptable when the other real life example isn't? Coz in this case, he has actually shown more proof than she has, irrespective of the rumors that have been floating around.
Or are these two random to be connected for you? If so, I'm sorry I can't think of any examples that are exactly the same as the HR-KR "affair".
Oh, and btw, KR and her fans first lauded her (and some continue to do so) as some feminist icon for being so brave to come forward with these allegations (even when she had no proof!). It doesn't makes sense for a non-fan to randomly say "Hey KR is NOT a feminist", does it? That started when she was branded a feminist and an icon, and not for the struggles that she overcame with sheer talent and her recent position and power (which I actually admire). No, it was coz she so bravely came out against the Big Bad Wolf she claimed she went to bed with, and her audacity to keep telling her lies without providing any actual proof. YES,that pesky little proof again!
