Rajputs and Punjabis, Himachalis, Kashmiris all probably have more Aryan blood than other areas as Aryans had settled in the North.

The middle states of India from west to east have a perfect mixture of Aryan and Dravidian skin tone and features.

The Rajouts settled in the areas of Himachal and Uattrakahnd are said to have migrated from Rajasthan sepvifically Rajputana.

Moreover a few years back a historian has dis- regarded the whole Aryan Dravidian theory stating it as a tool used by Brits to divide India.

An additional factor for Himachalis is also the light skinned Mongolid genes prevailing in the region..Many Himachalis I came across even in Western half of HP show more or less visible Mongolid features on face..

Ya was just going to say this. The Aryan migration has come under lot of dispute so I think that isn't correct.

No , they are Punjabi Khatris by origin who are different from Pathans(i.e. admixed Pashtun Muslims)..Before partition , Punjabi Khatris were scattered in as far as Hindko/NWFP region of Pakistan with highest concentration in West Punjab..

The reason why some of them hailing from Peshawar(Hindko region) call themselves Pathans is the same some of them hailing from Jammu/Himachal call themselves Dogras.. Also , 'Pathan' designation commands respect ..

The look Kapoors (barring Raj Kapoor) carry can be comfortably come across proper Punjabi Khatris in my observation (not talking about Kapoor sisters whose maternal grandmother was a white Brit)..Raj Kapoor kinda look is relatively less than others..

Barbara Shivdasani was half Brit half Indian not full white

^^Most of the people in my family are
Extremely fair-White or very dusky. We don't have any Afghani blood or anything. I don't think that holds true for everyone.

I don't think so. We are a family of Rajputs but my grandmother was a Brahmin. I am wheatish (lighter shade) while my sister is fair.
We can say for sure we do not possess Afghan or Irani blood in us because the Rajputs of HP and Uattrakahnd are said to have migrated to these regions from Rajputana kingdom. Our gotras would have all gotten mixed up if we were roots in 'the aforementioned regions.

The colour of skin doesn't necessarily make a valid ground for determining roots. Most People living in cold regions posses fair or light coloured skin because of the temperature and weather. While people living in high temperature or humid regions have darker colour of skins.
Moreover Indian skin unlike the European or African skin is vulnerable to change in pigmentation due to temperature.
