I think it was not a love story. It was a lust story. Worst thing was that it was disguised as love story.

- Lead hero was 50 year old tharki with a shady past, a womanizer, making sounds,

- Lead heroine was a tharki as well who despite being engaged was flirting and trying to win title of sex bomb from an unknown

- There were lust related scenes

- There was talk about sex desires

An average family must have went to the show in hope to see SRK romantic movie and it turns out he is playing a lust based role.

Girls still in awe of their father age romantic hero were hoping was some romance and they saw their favorite lusting

Average boy saw his fiance/girl friend in anushka and thought ok this old man is taking out girl friend. what did i do wrong

Tharki boy did not get b grade level lust so he was left wanting

In the end Imtiaz just ruined it BIG TIME. He was not clear whether he was making a love story or lust story.

People overall still dont make lust stories box office hits.

It makes perfect sense that this movie bombed

We should not blame audience.

I agree. People are calling it SRK's genre and so was the movie promoted which it is clearly not. Since when does pervertedness became equal to romance.

Movie just did not add up.

Why would you search for a ring like this? I mean if something gets out of my pocket in a visit to India ..will I go to there for the ring? Is the thing you loose always there with no one touching. I mean it can get under sofa and lost forever. Now add this to 6-7 countries and expenses. It was one of the most crappiest idea ever.

Then when you are so worried about your fiance how the heck you became interested in getting approval of a guide..Going to bars, wearing minis to incite whom. You slept with him and yet contact with fiancee was there. It does not add up.

Then both were acting as some players while it felt like they were 12th man and acting as if they were virat kohli lol. the womanizer, the player, the play uncle had an strange kiss..when it ended...he woke up as if someone is waking up slowly from sleep with bad back. i mean you were so called womanizer

A lame thumbs up from girl looked forced.

I gave it 3/5 for acting and songs. But I seriously believe that Imtiaz might be the worst director in so called A grade list of directors.

but would roam around to get attention from you and won't even mind having a one night stand despite being engaged ..

why has imtiaz started showing adultery so casually like it is no big deal..i mean it surely happens but to show it like it is cool or something progressive and casual..like hotay rehta hai..koi nae..is disgusting!!

story is not that bad.i have seen far worse scripts doing better business.
i do feel srk's brand image has taken serious beatings.he has lost
mass acceptance due to being repetitive.he is too wrinkled now to play romantic lead.
somehow a 50 yr old kissing a 28yr old girl looks awful to me at least.
moreover there was neither need nor passion in the kiss.it looked really forced.
its like a father smooching his daughter so very awkward.a younger hero doing this
might have given better result.if srk sits n introspects he will understand neither
fan nor dilwale nor hny nor jhms worked as ppl are no longer interested to see
him romance..well if it is a mature romance like some divorcee finding love again
that might work bt an old guy n a virgin romancing looks quite odd now as
every age has its own limits.umaar pachpan aur dil bachpan does not really
sink in.
