LOLOLOL!

If katrina Shraddha sonakshi can't act, so, we need to say Anushka can act?

Katrina, Shraddha, Sonakshi, Alia, Deepika, Kangana not Anushka and not related at all.

Disowning JHMS already? Noticed she has the habit of criticizing her roles when she doesn't get the desired response/praise. 😆

As far as her statement goes, I'll believe it when I see it. But good that she finally came to this realization.

No no no no no no no!!!!!!
This is awful.
The problem is, back in the 80s and 90s and way beyond, heroines were seen as "good" "satti savitri types, they had to be goody-two-shoes, timid, obedient, submissive. We have this mindset. So when there was an increase post-2000 of girls living life on their own terms, working, being themselves, making decisions, being confident, certain quarters labelled them as "bubbly" - this is not only simplistic but also very problematic.

Look at the guys, take any mix of 100 movies from the history of hindi cinema. 85-90 will be confident, macho, rambo, strong men.

So by telling Anushka she needs to stop doing "extrovert" roles, we are being unfair, misogynistic and regressive.

Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, SRK, and pretty much all other top heroes have never caused uproar because they played too many extroverts or confident characters. So why do it with the girls?

Society has changed this century. Girls are going out and working a lot more than pre-2000. They are studying more, moving out of their parental homes. Choosing not to settle down early, or even "settle" at all. We should be celebrating that.

I'm so happy that Anushka and Parineeti and so many others have played outgoing, strong willed women. It's empowering. And unless you're a buffoon, you will see the nuances that make each of their characters distinct from one another. Alizeh of ADHM is miles apart from Taani from RNBDJ, as is Akira of JTHJ worlds apart from Sejal from JHMS. Look at their mannerisms, body language, dialogue delivery, the way they stand, move, walk, talk.

Rant over.

She strikes me as someone with very low self esteem.

Stop making excuses and demonstrate change with your work instead Anushka.

I din't understand why did she even do that role and funnily rejected Tamasha which was a meaty role. 🤔
