That being said...I did feel that Rahul always loved Anjali. He just didn't know it. He was attached to her, rued her going away and cried during the train scene, keeps wondering why Anjali didn't contact him all these years...hell, he even named his daughter Anjali. Even during the game that he plays with his daughter, he recalls Anjali. He never really forgot her.

It is precisely what Tina says after the train scene..shayad mein Rahul aur Anjali ke beech aa gayi...shayad.
