So let me get this straight.
In a conversation, Saif encouraged some guy to finish his script and he'll be excited to do it.
50 days later, guy calls up saif and says he's ready, Saif isn't interested.

Ok...so move on to another actor, take your script to a production house, or a director and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. If you have faith in your script, then someone else would pick up on it. The fact that nobody did...well...guess it wasn't all that.

Saif wasn't even a producer back in 2003. Way to crib about something so small.
How often do we encourage people to follow their dreams? This dude has issues.

Saif didn't even give him a chance to narrate the script. Nor did he make it clear that he is not interested. The writer was unwilling to do this, but Saif approached him and asked him to do it. So when he finished the job he was asked to, the least Saif could do was respond.

"Saif wasn't even a producer back in 2003. Way to crib about something so small. "

If he wasn't a producer why did he approach this guy? And something so small? Certainly it wouldn't be so small if you do two months work and don't even get a response by the company you were hired by, forget being paid or appreciated, not even a response.

Saif didn't hire him. Read the letter. The guy was the one telling him about an idea he had and Saif just encouraged him to go on with it. Did he give him the impression he'd do it? Yeah. But there was no legal binding contract.
What's the big deal here? It's a script right? Take it to someone else. Why was it so absolutely necessary that SAIF be the only actor to do it? Do it the right way. Go to a producer.

The writer was "pressed" to do it despite his unwillingness to do so.

He never said he cannot approach other actors. (He would if Saif said no). The point is Saif should have at least conveyed his lack of interest clearly. He did not, and acted in a highhanded manner. And that needs to be rightly condemned.

He did convey his lack of interest very clearly. He didn't respond back. What more a signal do you need?
Why didn't he take it then to another producer?

Because he did not know if it's because Saif was busy or not interested?

And if that's Saif's way of conveying he is not interested then it proves that he's the douche that everyone calls him.

He's pretty well respected within the industry. Guy gets good work. Hasn't gotten into arguments with his colleagues. Yeah he wrote an idiotic open letter in the wake of aggression, but in his own profession, there are no complaints about his work ethic.

Hahahaha this letter reminds me of ghosting related text pics on instagram. Saif's been ghosting before it even became a thing.🤣
