I didn't write that Alia has done more variety of roles as compared to Kajol...I wrote that Alia has done a variety of roles but her acting is the same regardless of what her role is. Her roles are different on paper but not in the way she potrays them.

I think alia has done all her roles barring her debut with aplomb! She doesn't need a SRK or chemistry to sell herself!

I would question the actress in her, but will not deny her stardom. She was a bigger star than Alia in her age. (May be Alia can go higher, if she does not take a break). But I will stick to my stand that Kajol is a limited actress.

Meatier role? Agree, Kajol had a flowerpot role in Baazigar. But in DDLJ or KKHH, her role was no less than Sharukh. (I am not saying KKHH was a great movie. But it was a hit and she was not a flowerpot in that).

Totally agree! I know she won awards for Udta Punjab but imo, she was so unconvincing in that role, no way she came across as a labourer, pretty clear she was just acting as one.
