So this writer comes with this article after Ranbir states in a interview how he doesn't consider himself superstar and it's media created image. Was he sleeping this whole time or waiting for Ranbir to give him some topic to write?

I agree with most of it but I consider Ranbir a good actor. But he lacks versatility. He has mastered the same kind of roles he plays. Like someone said he can never play a Bajirao but some of the other actor can easily play all roles played by Ranbir. Even though I must say he has given me some memorable characters. He needs to come out of his comfort zone and show us something different to sustain longer in the race.

He is over hyped way too much is something I can agree upon. Same thing applies to Alia and Varun as well.

How is Varun overhyped?

He is barely seen as what Ranbir or Ranveer are touted to be. Next big thing and superstar. Neither has popular link up with an A grade actresses like Deepika or Katrina to further give them a hype

Varun doesn't have such PR as those 2 neither, industry still credits his BO success as he has gained so far.

So far all his films have done well. Not a single below average or flop film. 100% success ratio. These are facts. You still don't see tabloids having him as the poster boy. He is slowly building his fan base and progressing with each release. I mean come on. He hasn't had single grand film like Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Barfi, Rockstar, Befikre, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil etc... where you get 'he has arrived' tag for having a big release with a well known director who themselves belong A grade.

Anyway say whatever you want. Varun has worked with various production houses and not just backed up by one. Don't think David or Kjo can score him a Sriram or Shoojit film. People easily take all credit away from him. But let it. Varun will let his work do all the talking now.

I would argue the same does not apply to Varun and Alia because at least for the time being they are delivering results. Its not the same as Ranbir who is still touted as the best thing since sliced bread wherein reality he hasn't seen much success at all since 2013.

Public does not get swayed by any such propaganda
They only approve what they like
Most of the people don't even care about critic reviews
