Deep down in her heart, she knew Baahu couldn't kill Bhalla. In Dandalaiyya song, both Sivagami and Amarendra were longing for each other. I had tears in my eyes at that time. Same.. I couldn't help the tears.. I guess she did but in her ego & rage, she had forgotten about it... She thought that Devasena (who is her reflection) could have that effect on Baahu..

She trusted Baahu a lot, she wanted to be his everything. If Devasena was chosen by her, she'd have appreciated her (remember when she was seeing the portraits of potential brides. She wanted fire in their eyes that match Baahu). For sure!

The fact that Baahu supported Devasena in front of the whole Maahishmati and said "thavaru/you're wrong" to her in front of all, that hurt, ego and pride blinded her. None ever dared to say no to her, and this coming from Baahu had hurt her a lot.

When Amarendra left the palace, in Dandalaiyya song, we could see Sivagami in deep thinking and missing Amarendra, while he was longing for her love.
I'm sure she couldnt have lived without Amarendra anyway once she knew the truth.

No but she knew Kattapa never lied. She knew Kattapa was a father figure to Amarendra and she could have tried to know about his whereabouts and his take on this affair.
In fact, Kattapa tried to make sense into her, she wasnt ready to listen to it. Once she had cooled down, I'm sure she would have heard him though.

Katappa who blamed sivagami later could have atleast thot to speak once with sivagami before killing bahu...but no...he kills bahu😕 but shouts later😕 I know... but I guess the reality that Baahu was gone was what made Kattappa speak up against Sivagami! Though I can understand the situation - the heart can't stop asking - do we have to speak up for the innocent ones only after something tragic has taken place already?😭😭 Does someone need to die before we speak up against the evil in this world?😭😭

He killed him just because she was ready to kill him...no mother could ever kill her son katappa missed this Exactly! he had failed to see that.. Though what he did (not wanting Sivagami to do the deed coz he knows it is a paap) is understandable, he failed to see the important point here - if he had raised him, Sivagami had raised him, breast fed him - Amarendra was her baby.. would she have been successful? I don't think so..

My take II

My foster maa and baba went down the hills last night. I cried like a baby holding onto her. But she suddenly seems to become more careful, shy, uncomfortable with my touch. I, Mahendra Bahubali will try my best to keep people happy. But my gravest problem is, I have never seen the man, who looked like me or whom I look like, who loved people as much as they are loving me now which is a lot. And who died without getting anything he deserved. And I question myself, do I deserve everything I am getting? I have never met him. I don't know how he felt, what he felt, why he felt.

When I look at the face of my mother, my real mother I met after twenty five years of my life, I see a void. I know she will make me everything I am not now, , everything that's needed to become Mahendra Bahubali, Amarendra Bahubali's descendant. I know she'll do her duties. But will my mother ever actually be happy? Ever?

My daadi, my savior was beautiful and strong. A portrait of hers recently painted is adorning the courtroom. She saved me and I am thankful to her for my life. And I so wish she was alive with me too. But deep down, a sigh of relief runs . My father, got to meet his mother soon after he died. And I, got to lose my father soon after I took birth.

Amarendra Bahubali, I can only cry before the immense statue of yours being built in the yard, can you please return? For a day?
