This is what I don't understand. At that time, killing a member of your family was normal. They didn't have that much sentiments. But, you would never kill your own son for that! And thats where Sivagami's character was ruined and failed for me. She was such a strong character, how could she go to the extent of killing Baahu without a proper investigation?! No matter what, this can be justified!

There is no denying that Mimi! Especially Sivagami, there was no need for her to take him in & raise him as her own son. She could've raised him as another heir but nope, she loved him truly & he was her son according to her. I would go to the extent of saying that till the end, Baahu was the one she loved the most...

Kattappa - He truly cared about Baahu as well! Though he wasn't suppose to, he did point it out to Baahu when Bijjala was being unfair..

However, one was easily manipulated and other one was bound by his oath!

She isn't worth being called "mom" after that. But then she gave up her life to save Mahendra. She announced him as the King despite knowing of the consequences. So I guess she kinda gave rebirth to Amarendra Baahubali
