Regarding ticket prices, it was hiked only in few places and people were ready to pay. In my place prices were hiked only for the opening weekend, and in many places it was at normal price. So, it just shows that people want to watch, not once or twice. There are people who have watched 3-4 times and many such people!

You accept or not, numbers won't change and this movie will remain no.1 for a long time!

I paid 1050 rps for the tickets (I didnt see the movie in India though), and I went to watch the movie 5 times. The more the demand, the more the supply. Its the first thing we learn in economics/commerce stream. I know many people who watched the movie in the theaters for more than 5 times. Dear TM, If they are willing to do that, who are you to complain? If they all thought like you, the movie would be a huge flop. But it did the exact opposite. This should mean something, right?

In Chennai, theres a rule that you cant charge more than 110 rps or something like that for movie tickets. And in spite of that, it did create a record in Chennai as well!

Its like you buy an Arun or Jamaai ice cream for 10 rps. They sell the same ice cream in Haagen Dazs for 500 rps. Are you gonna blame HD for the turnover they make because they sell it at higher prices? No. Its all about quality and as long they have demand, they'll supply...

How much did Bahubali 1 collect in Hindi? Wasn't it around 150 crores? Bahubali 1 wasn't as big a rage as Bahubali 2 is all over India. The collections of Bahubali 1 was huge in the South, but not as big in North India, hence, BOI didn't include it.

This film's rage on Box Office, followed by TV premieres build this hype for part 2 (stated by BOI also)... BAHUBALI 1 is ALL TIME GROSSER (All Languages India). You can't even ignore this one.

I do believe that BOI should dedicate a page to international/dubbed movies. It's unfair to Robot that few realize that it broke 3 Idiot's all-India net collections within 6 months. But the dubbed (Hindi) version of Robot was not as big, hence, the exclusion.

ROBOT 1 when came was having same kind of sensation... remember at that time articles were written about how supreme Rajinikanth is All over india... This film's All India Language NETT is 210 Cr crossing 3 IDIOTS (Which was HINDI ATG No.1 @ time, like now Dangal is). Why ignore this kind of All India Language NETT, making ROBOT 1 Biggest INDIAN Film in 2010.

On Jungle Book not being there, Bahubali 2 is an Indian film. TJB collected around 185-190 crores in India, which is huge for an international movie, but here Bahubali 2 has collected around 1000 crores gross in India alone. Can't compare the scale.

DUBBED is common between The Jungle Book & Bahubali 2, originally Bahubali 2 is made in TELUGU Language & TJB in English, both Dubbed in HINDI made big on Box office...

Bahubali 2 is an Indian film that worked universally all over India. It's among those 6-10 movies that have become pan India sensations. A boxoffice site wouldn't ignore it, especially when it has crossed the net collections of every Hindi movie since HAHK (adjusted for inflation).

Bahubali 2 won't cross other films also... wait for Dangal Footfalls update & then 2016 AVERAGE TICKET PRICE figures, which will raise all ADJ. NETT Figures for HAHK, GADAR & DDLJ, making it more higher than current ones & Bahubali 2 is aiming 450 Cr NETT.

This is why kids shouldnt be allowed on the forum. They make stupid threads like these.

If even after so much craze ( around me, in reality ) Bahubali 2 is not that big hit ( according to sallu fans ) then I refuse to accept that Salman's movies are even hit or average bcz I NEVER saw any such type of craze for his movies

Whatever man. Whichever industry.. whichever region it belongs to.

It is an Indian movie making records and winning hearts. It deserves every bit of appreciation it is getting. Why can't everyone just be happy about it.
