This shit happens all the time, including to A list Hollywood stars. Why are certain people here acting like the paparazzi and journalists are some sort of gods who set the standard...as if if they don't know a name it dictates 100% what the star's standard or status is.

BW stars all have good relations with international designers because they started lending them dresses a few years ago. Now a lot of them get invites to international fashion weeks in Paris/Milan/NY.

I think Sonam will get a MET invite in the coming years too.

Tommy Hilfiger taking Deepika got him tons of media attention in India. It's a big market. They might not be able to afford his gowns but they can afford to buy Tommy tee shirts, etc.

Usually Elie Saab gowns are feminine than western designer gowns and makes the person look very elegant

I think it's the nose, nostrils in particular that confused them
