Finally watched the film and I really liked it. It's weird though that Part 1 had a tacky first half and a stunning second half while Part 2 has an amazing first half and a monotonous second half. Or rather monotonous climax. The whole war sequence got really exhausting after a point and should have been cut short by at least 15 minutes 😆 That said, the movie had some brilliant moments. I have always felt Prabhas is a mediocre actor but he has such stellar screen presence as the senior Baahubali. The irony is that I still found him cringe worthy as Shiva (guess I can never like the character 😆) but he had such an undeniable aura as Amarendra Baahubali. And damn, Anushka easily had one of the best written roles and she killed it. I really liked their love story. It wasn't clichd with cheesy romance and there was just so much respect and dignity to the love story. Something which is a rarity on screen these days. She had some of the best lines in the film and am so glad SSR finally wrote such a strong female character for a change. These two really need to do more films cos they have amazing chemistry. Oh and Rana is hot. I liked how he was quite for most part of the film and he was more of the silent, brooding villain. I really wish they explored his angle with Anushka more cos they were really good in the few scenes they had. All in all, it is definitely worth a watch on the big screen. I wouldn't call it the best film ever but it was definitely an extremely entertaining commercial film which was done well for the most part.

🤣 Thanks for the review kannu.

I was expecting you to drool more because the wait was already killing you yesterday. 😆 Lets see what Maya comes up with after watching it.😆 Yes, this movie should be watched for Anushka only😳 Knew she would kill it😳😆

^^You changed your UN?😆 Rana was hot dude. And Prabhas looked amazing in a few sequences in the first half. Forget the acting, they had amazing screen presence and looked the part. And yup, Anushka was stunning. I loved the fact that she was this fierce, dominating character and they din make her coy after falling in love. You should watch dude. It's not so bad and it's actually worth watching on the big screen 😆

Watched it in a packed theatre...with a very excited audience. Most fun I've had in the theatre in decades.
No it's not the best movie ever or anything but just the experience it gives you (especially in a movie theatre) is something else's...more than visuals etc the baahubali series stands out for me because of its rousing moments...like the interval bit in part 1, the war sequences and in part two, the sequences in the Darbalara, the interval again,

***spoiler alert*****
The scene where prabhas chops off the dudes head in the hall had everyone literally getting up and wolf whistling.

prabhas as amarendra baahubali is my man...he oozes charisma, royalty and charm. ...to be honest,.idgaf about his other character ...I legit got depressed when the flashback finished. I didn't want that part to end '...rana was good too but I wish his character's equation with devasena was better established. Ramya Krishna was good despite the fact that it is a tad unconvincing how someone as fierce and strong as her would give in to her sons words...but they kinda justified during that part where she was trying to compensate for him not getting the throne.

The star of the show for me is anushka shetty her scenes with amarendra are cute '(This might be more coz I adore prabhas and anushka as an onscreen couple) ..I loved the scene where she walks on his shoulders...her scenes with sivagami and rana are fierce'...she's such a badass in the movie...

The dude who played devasenas brother in law (subbaraju I think) is cute...
