Alia is miles ahead of deepika.

she played a rape drugged victim in udta punjab.

the complexity and emotional intensity for that character alone eats any DP character or character of any male/female BW artist today.

I had bad experience with bullying and stalking in one of last forum. I have become more careful since then. I read Minni's post on CC thread. I guess the person thinks I am mid. That is bore. I was scared because this person kept following with same words. If it is just 2 Rs fun then I guess I will be alright. In my experience, it doesn't take much for situation to escalate from fun to downright crazy. I was just on guard. 😊

I love both as actresses but I choose Alia.

1. Alia did soty but then started doing movies like Highway while Deepika was doing movies like break ke baad or housefull at the midpoint of her career. Alia grew faster, improved from movie to movie at a much faster rate than Deepika.

2. I think Alia shows more range. She is versatile. Her role in Udta Punjab is so different than Love You Zindagi. She can do anything.

3. On top of my head I can think of iconic Alia scenes that made me want to say bravo. I like Deepika so much but I can't really think of any scene that made me say we might not have another actress like this in a long time.

Alia is immensely versatile and a bundle of talent! Deepika is visually appealing and has a very good screen presence which compensate for her inadequacies in acting.
