On September 11, 2025 we got the news of Yu Menglong passing away after falling from a building in Beijing, China. The circumstances around his demise immediately raised questions. He fell down from a friend’s home after being allegedly drunk. The fact that more people were present in the house raised suspicions. Initially, the focus on six people but now netizens are debating that there could have been as much as 17 people involved in this.

As per some netizens actress Song Yiren was also present at the gathering. People are trying not to drag in names of other actors but her name has come up strongly. It seems she deleted comments where people asked her if she too was in the dinner party. Actor Yu Menglong did not have a reputation to be a huge drinker. A lot of expensive alcohol was found in the venue. Fans are wondering why is Song Yiren silent on the matter. There is immense scrutiny on all his friends so it is understandable that they’re low key.

Some are even saying he was kept there from mid-August 2025 and allegedly tortured. The reason being his alleged knowledge of a big money-laundering racket. It seems two women identified him as Yu Menglong and began to scream. The suicide angle is being rebutted with some asking where is the note. Yu Menglong's manager too has reportedly gone undercover.

The police has not made any fresh statement on the matter highlighting their findings on the case. Two months back, Zhao Lusi spoke up on alleged mental and emotional torture from agency. Fans are just wondering what is the real truth, and hoping for fair investigation.
