I think a white guy can easily be accepted as a hero in Bollywood. A black guy on the other hand? No friggin way!

---Betty---: yes, I agree that black guys and girls will not be accepted as hero and heroines by both the genders. But for girls, looks aren't enough to attract them coz they look for more qualities in an actor. But looks are still important to the girls, and by looks I mean fair skin. They are still not very strict in this aspect as we have an actor like Ajay Devgn who has dark skin. But guys only care about fair skin and nothing else. I am only talking about actors.

I was only talking about actors and actresses. Indian guys only care about white skin in an actress but Indian girls do care about fair skin but they also look for other things like personality and charm in an actor. In real life, I think alot of things matter in relationships for both the genders which again includes fair skin as well. Yes, Indians are obsessed with white skin but guys show this obsession more for actresses than girls show for actors, coz we have an actor like Ajay who is a superstar.

PLEASE stop generalizing. I see Indian girls with ugly looking white dudes all the time. Snaring a white piece of a** is a lifetime achievement for a lot of desis. I have YET to see an Indian girl with a black dude. And yet black dudes come up to me and ask me to hook them up with a desi girl cuz they think desi girls are "exotic"(it would break their poor hearts to learn that brown girls want nothing to do with them) .

Brown girls want white men, white men want asian girls, black men want white or brown girls, so honey all races have people who hate their own and want the greener grass on the other side.

Till now black guy / gal have no acceptance
