if am not wrong then men have a say over heroines being accepted or rejected..
n women have their say on men..
the fact that after 35 heroines are shelved bt men can continue even past their
50s kind of says that women dnt really judge men by their age color looks bt
by their personality n character off screen alone..so if a white man is a good human
being i feel Indian women will accept him n so naturally bollywood too
will accept him seeing his market viability with the ladies...

Hey, I am sure some women would love it...maybe?

Of course women would love but who would finance them? It's all about male fantasy for these producers.. guys want to see and imagine gori ladkiyan romancing them 😉 Most of Katrina's fanbase, on this forum or elsewhere are mostly males. If women had some say in the production business, like Sonam got Anil to finance Khoobsurat, then we will get more foreign male eye candy like Fawad 😳

White skin doesn't means the girl is beautiful, same is the case with guy. But Indian males are obsessed with gori chamdi and consider white girls as beautiful. But Indian girls don't have the same notion. White skin isn't enough to attract them. They consider guys overall outward personality, looks and charishma. None of the sexes cares about the offscreen character as the Khans are no saints in real life.

@bold 😆 well, I guess that's true. Clearly as so many women are flowerpots and have to be VERY sexy.

It's purely because producers make movies for Indian men and white girls are easy to sell as a fantsay. It's just more obvious in the south where some of the girls are way fairier than everyone else in the film. I promise you brown girls will go crazy for a good looking white guy just like the guys go crazy for white girls but the brown guys will oppose anyone who they can't see themselves as while brown girls are not as threatened. Indian movies are all about role fulfillment and girls have no problems feeling like Amy Jackson but guys will see a white guy as a threat instead of seeing them as the guy representing them.

we had a half desi white guy in late 80s-shashi kapoor's son karan kapoor..he looked cute and his hindi accent was even cuter..but in both movies he played 2nd lead..he had sunny paaji in one movie as main hero and dharmendra/shatrughan sinha in the other.he did action too and there was a dialogue -dekhne mein angrez maarne mein ghengez..😳😆
watch his songs from both movies..Juhi's debut movie sultanat..

Yeah, I think at the end of the day white men might be a threat as more women if vocal wanted more. Also, I do find it weird how goras are so accepted. Doesn't seem anyone minds however...but like mentioned I could see TONS of men getting upset over this becoming something.

Question for all girls here who read this: what is your thoughts on foreign women playing half indian or indian women in films?

For me I don't think they should play Indian characters but represent a foreigner. But I have no problem with them being in films.
