What Kjo did for 3 Students, no one does for their own kids, perfect example of nepotism.

Sid Mal - Talent is less, nothing else than pretty face

Varun - Talent hai par stardom nahi

Alia - Na Talent baaki sab bhi less

Then there is brand of directors which he has launched, who invest so much money on ppl who aren't even in blood relations?

What KJ doing is not Nepotism, I consider that as Favor-ism, i.e favoring certain section of people (read Bollywood Elite). As much as I wish he would pick outsiders too based on talent level, he can invest his money on anyone. His money and his choice...That said, public also right to boycott his movies and not to spend dime on his products. Public money and their choice.

I do feel people like bad RaJKumar Rao had to debut in character roles. But idk if he even would enjoy playing a conventional leading hero

Amrita Puri had the qualities to be a heroine but sadly again she is heroines friend only 😲

KJO is right that what he does is not nepotism. He is not a family member producing movies for his kids. But what he does is a form of nepotism because he refuses to look at any outsiders or even TV people. He gives chances based on pedigree not on talent. It would not matter if BW is not a closed industry and we do not have things like casting couches and suicides because of lack of opportunities.

The difference between KJO and Adi is this. Adi introduces a Bhumi Padnaker, works with Ayushman. He introduces people like Anu and Ranveer who KJO considered not good enough for BW. KJO's thinking and attitude is the problem. That is the nepotism.

Well the gossip is Sid and Fawad were warming his bed which makes it even more awful if he gave them opportunities because of that. He is a sugar daddy type then, not just nepotism. Makes it exploitative and a casting couch situation.

Definition is his adopted daughter Alia who got a 2nd movie as a lead after the 1st horrendous performance
Outsiders don't even get one chance let alone a second one after failing pathetically in the first one!

IMO KJo indulges in nepotism (not the exact definition, but there's no other term) for actors. He does favor actors with a filmy connect over others.

But he is right that he has given a chance to a lot of outsider directors. Maybe that's his way of balancing it out 😆

Although he is certainly not the only one indulging in this nepotism. The industry as a whole does this, and it might be time for an overhaul?
