Why do people accept his Manoj Kumar act when he has given up his Indian citizenship in favor of Canadian one for no better reason than that Canada offered him one?

I mean is that any reason for giving up ur own country's citizenship even though u are living and working there?

And people digest it and still see him as this highly patriotic guy?

Lol...what do you mean accept his Manoj Kumar act? Did he get elected into the parliament or something? Only his movies are being watched, no? What is there to digest? and who and where exactly is he being called as this 'highly patriotic guy' ? May be the people outside the India-forums could care two hoots about which country's citizen Akshay Kumar is, as long as he makes movies that they can watch? Just may be?

If you have watched any Manoj Kumar films then you would understand what Im saying...he was called Mr India because of his high dose of patriotism in every film.

I meant people buy into his patriotic deshbhakt act in MOST of his recent movies and offscreen too, but no journalist ever asks him how come he gave up his citizenship if hes so patriotic?

They would have jumped to ask other stars that question if they had done the same, but they spare him? Hmm...why?😉
