no release in 2016. Deepika was only missing for the same amount of time. PC had a release and will be doing another Bollywood movie soon too. you can still contribute to Bollywood and India despite working in Hollywood. not being interested in going west is one thing but calling it stupid is stupid. Indian actresses getting more representation in mainstream entertainment is awesome. I've seen so many people start watching Bollywood films because of them.

The other actors have brains too.. just because something looks stupid to you, doesn't mean it's stupid for them... they have their reasons to venture into 'western' movies.

I guess people will conveniently ignore this little paragraph and jump on her back. She is talking about herself, not anybody else. People need to stop pitting these actresses against each other all the time, if a male star had said something like this, he would be given leeway for having his own opinion on things, but when an actress says it is "taking a dig." Why can't we let these actresses take their own route and have their own opinion on things without constantly ragging on them. Oh, well. 🥱

^the above line spoils the whole argument that she is talking about herself or not taking a dig.
