Its not abt Abdul Latif, its the story of Raees Alam, an imaginary bootlegger don in Gujrat.

In the beginning of the movie they have the disclaimer that its not based on any person, living or dead.

Its just fiction, not factual and NOT A BIOPIC!
So glorifying question doesnt arise.

Anyway Raees dies in the end and the message is clear, Crime doesnt pay...and that those who live by the sword die by the sword.

Glorification is a wrong term used here. Azhar movie was actually real example of glorification .

If the character isn't called Abdul lateef, it can't be glorified story on him.

I haven't seen the movie and no idea glorify kiya ya nahi but once Lateef's son warned the makers that he would take them to court, they had released a statement stating that it was not based on anyone..Lateef's son had said the makers had met his family..why??

i wanted to watch raees, but after reading this topic if they are glorifying him cant imagine the number of people who watched raees and heard it is based on abdul latif, but have no details of his life and end up believing the fictional version of the story to believe abdul latif...
