Alfred Hitchcock started the trend in movies when he shifted to Hollywood and wanted less interference from studio. He didn't realize it would become so popular refuge of less talented over hyped fratenity. Current media culture is to blame. If kadarshian can be media star without doing anything, kat can be popular symbol just for marrying royalty (the whole family is pretty useless btw) then we can take solace that when push comes to shove all these examples in your note try to act decently.

Well, except for Players, Prem Ratan Dhan, her films had good stories whether they worked or not.

But I don't think she wanted to become an actor, actor as such. She is too much into glamour and talk shows and dressing up for events, even more than the average star for her comment to hold much water.

You don't have to do plastic surgery to enhance your breasts or streamline your face to ACT.

Pushing all buttons to endorse cosmetics or go to Cannes is not ACT. That's part of a stars paraphernalia..

Ya, I think she was blowing hot air for this statement. And it is because she is Anil Kapoors daughter and has her own production house that she is still around inspite of her flops. NOT because she is over talented or over beautiful like Vidya or Richa Chaddha or Katrina, Ash respectively.
