She is still popular even after 33 years of her debut in 1992 and holds her ground pretty strong even now unlike most 90s actresses, Kareena is here for last 25 years.

Also Kareena's prime was ended some 12 years ago with Gori Tere Mein, after that she is around just like Rani or Kajol, Karishma, Tabu or Raveena etc every now and then in matured selective roles, but to say Kareena still rules and is ruling for last 25 years as of a true blue regular mainstream commercial successful lead is simply not true ..her rule and real run was of 13 years, and not 25 years.

Moreover after Sridevi and Madhuri, the names that comes as the most successful actresses overall are Juhi Chawla, Kajol and her own sister Karishma Kapoor.

Kareena, Priyanka, Rani and Katrina's names comes after these 5 ladies, and all three of them were/are more or less equally popular and are in the same league of overall success.

Kareena being successful/relevant for 25 years is a big thing. She has maintained herself well. During early 2000's Kareena was a diva throwing tantrums and acting all mean girl to her coactors. She got away with mistreating Bipasha on the sets of Ajnabee, if it was now she would have been trolled badly. Over the years she has mellowed. Now she gives all diplomatic answers on KWK. Also, Kareena is the only person who can get away with overacting too. Kareena has rejected lot of good movies offered to her but still she did well.

Ah, sorry, but no one is thinking about Juhi or Karishma post Sridevi or Madhuri. No ones even thinking about them.

Kajol hasn't worked consistently like Kareena has. Both are great actresses so there shouldnt be a comparison but if we are judging longevity (which this post is about!), then thats Kareena.
